Fun and free after-school activities for kids and families

Go4Fun is a free 10-week program of activities and games for children aged 7 to 13 and their parent or carer. It is for families looking for support with healthy eating, physical activity, and overall wellbeing.

Run by trained health and community professionals, it’s a fun way for kids to build self-esteem and learn about eating well, staying active and living a healthy life.

Go4Fun is a NSW Health program facilitated locally by Central Coast Health Promotion Service.

Our programs

Go4Fun runs every school term, with our next set of programs on the Coast taking place at the following locations.

Term 1 2025:

  • Lake Haven Recreation Centre, every Tuesday 4pm–6pm, starting Tuesday 11 February (Aboriginal program open to everyone, run by Bungree Aboriginal Association)
  • The Entrance Community Centre, every Wednesday 4pm–6pm, starting Wednesday 12 February
  • Gosford Olympic Pool (indoor, heated), every Thursday 4pm–6pm, starting Thursday 13 February
  • Go4Fun online – at times that suit you

How does it work?

  • Sessions run once a week for 10 weeks during the school term
  • Facilitated by qualified health professionals
  • Each session includes group learning and game-based activities
  • Sessions are family focused, so a parent or carer must come to every session

How do I promote it?

Use our resources to promote Go4Fun to friends, family, colleagues, clients and patients.

Refer your patients

If you’re a health professional, there are a number of ways you can refer patients to Go4Fun.

Once referred, the Go4Fun team will do the rest and find the most suitable program for your patient, based on the information you provide and what is available.
