Support for Central Coast canteens
Like you, we care about Central Coast students having access to healthy food and drink in school canteens.
We are here to help support and simplify the process for canteen managers to implement the NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy.
We work in partnership with Central Coast Local Health District’s Nutrition Service to provide practical resources and professional development training to make it as easy as possible for you to incorporate healthy food choices in your canteen menu.
We also provide a supportive community through our Canteen Managers Network to share ideas and best practice.

Next Canteen Network meeting
Our next Canteen Network meeting will take place at Valley View Public School from 10am–1pm on Tuesday 13 May 2025. Come along to hear all about what’s on offer for 2025. It’s a great chance to meet other canteen managers, swap recipes and ideas, and hear from our special guest, Lisa Wriley from Rumbalara Environmental Education Centre.
