Past participant – Maree

Maree lives on the Central Coast and has dwarfism at 120cm tall.

Maree’s motivation for joining: “I want to be able to maintain my independence, to be able to live at home, walk on the beach and go bushwalking to enjoy the beautiful Central Coast.”

Before joining the program, Maree struggled with getting in and out of her car. She says: “My mobility and posture were not good before I started the program. Now I am getting out of the car more easily without the help of steps or other aides.”

Maree’s advice: “It doesn’t matter what your size, you can do it!”
