Activate Your Space is a project that strives to improve opportunities for people living in suburbs of greatest need to be physically active, eat healthy and connect with others.
The emphasis is on creating community-led activities that are sustainable with community, government and non-government agencies working together.
We are currently working with the suburbs of San Remo and Blue Haven on the following initiatives:
John Pete Howard Reserve
Park and Pathway survey – after Central Coast Council’s 2021 upgrade to the playspace at John Pete Howard Reserve, San Remo, we asked the local community what they liked about it, how often they use the park and lakeside pathway, and what could be improved to encourage more people to use the park and pathway.
Click on below options for the survey results.
Look out for
- Aboriginal artwork from the local schools to be installed at John Pete Howard Reserve
- Recreational activities/events to be offered by the Office of Sport
