Passport & Mini Passport Activity

In 2009 the flagship of the Live Outside the Box program will be the Passport Activity for years 5 & 6.

As well as the year 5 & 6 activity available to all schools across NSW, Central Coast and Northern Sydney schools also have a Mini Passport Activity available for years K-4.

What is the passport activity? Students record breakfast, fruit, veg, water, sometimes foods, TV/computer time, and physical activity in their passport. Passports, certificates and teacher resources are provided. Prize packages are also available to Central Coast and Northern Sydney schools! The Mini Passport is a shortened version of the full passport activity but still comes with certificates, teacher resources, prizes and more!

When? Central Coast schools are encouraged to order their resources now and run the Live Outside the Box and Q4 Mini Passport activities together over a two week period during weeks 6-8 in term 1, 2009. Northern Sydney schools should contact the project officer in their area for details (see below).

Getting Involved

(Central Coast and Northern Sydney schools) - there are two options for joining in the fun.

 - OPTION ONE -WHOLE SCHOOL OPTION - Live Outside the Box and Q4 Mini Passport - Whoo Hooo, this is the best option!

 - OPTION TWO - Years 5 & 6 only - Live Outside the Box only.

 

Schools taking option one will receive:

- Prize packs for lucky draw prizes - School prizes based on participation rates - Help with organising launches at your school

Information for NSW schools outside the Central Coast and Northern Sydney- First seen on the Central Coast in 2004 the Passport has now been adapted for all schools across NSW.
