A health promoting high school is a place where all members of the school community work together to provide students, teachers, parents and carers with integrated and positive experiences and structures which promote and protect their health. This includes: - the formal school curriculum - the school ethos/environment/informal curriculum - community partnerships such as the family, health services, Police etc. |

Central Coast Health Promoting High School Network
The Network is made up of a variety of agencies with an interest in school health promotion. These include; - Association of Independent Schools - Asthma Friendly Schools - Catholic Education Office - Department of Education - various departments of the Northern Sydney and Central Coast Area Health Service (Alcohol & Other Drugs, Asthma Education, Health Promotion Unit, Immunisation, Kinks & Bends, Mental Health, Nutrition, Sexual Health, and Youth Health)
