| On the Central Coast, canteen supervisors are invited to attend termly network meetings coordinated by Central Coast Health's Health Promotion Unit and Nutrition Departments. At these meetings, canteen workers are supported through the change process, updated on relevant issues, provided with product samples and opportunities to share experience and knowledge. Regular attendees to the meetings are acknowledged with membership certificates and T-Shirts. We have lots of fun as well as gain loads of useful information. The Canteen Network
also organises bus trips to Healthy Kids School Canteen Association events
- such as canteen expos and the AGM. These are great days out and provide
an opportunity to sample food and drinks registered for sale in school
